Moji Olaiya, Adesua Etomi, Evans, Efe, Bobrisky & #BAAD top List of Google 2017 Most Searches in Nigeria

Google Nigeria has released the results for its 2017 top searches in Nigeria. This was made in Lagos yesterday December 13th at a media briefing.

The list offers a unique overview of the year’s major events, moments and top trends based on searches carried out in Nigeria.

The 2017 Year in Search list also offers insights into what the top trending news moments for Nigerians were in the last 12 months, as well as the new music and movies that got their attention.

According to the search results, the most searched person on Google’s year-end list was actress, Moji Olaiya. The sad news of her death two months after being delivered of a baby shook the Nigerian movie industry.

The notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a Evans came second while Adesua Etomi was third on the list. #BAAD, Banky W and Adesua’s wedding made it to the Nigeria most searched stories.

This year’s top “What is searches included; President Buhari’s state of health, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and results of the West African Examinations Council, who is Bobrisky what a female Hyena is called?
