Fayose was speaking to news men of the media, during the bail hearing of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, at the federal high court that sat in Abuja on tuesday.
He was said to have allegedly declared that “Ekiti state is now part of Biafra”
This is the first time that Fayose is openly showing support for the movement which is agitating for a breakaway of the southeast from Nigeria.
Kanu has been granted bail on health grounds, the IPOB leader is expected to provide 3 surties, one whom must be a serving senator,a jewish religious leader and a highly respected person, whom must own land anywhere in abuja. kanu was also ordered not to grant interviews to the press and not to be seen in a gathering of more than 10 people.
